The Center for World Indigenous Studies (CWIS) in a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization registered in the United States under the Federal Identification Number 91-1247029. Until the Congress of Nations and States is Chartered and hosted by a State and Nation as an international institution with diplomatic credentials and protections, it will function under the Center for World Indigenous Studies’ fiscal sponsorship. CWIS is an international organization advancing constructive relations between indigenous nations and states since 1979. If you are located in the United States of America, your donation is deductible from your taxes to the federal government. Individual, institutional, government, business, and religious organization contributions are welcomed to help fund this three-year initiative projected to have a minimum budget of USD 6.5 million or 5.6 million Euros. For the first year of development, the Center for World Indigenous Studies has provided support and costs, and thirty professionals have been contributing their time pro bono. A total of sixty-five people will be working to energize the Preparatory Body, the Secretariat, and the six Specialized Commissions. Their skills and capabilities are essential to organizing states’ and indigenous nation’ delegation participation. Ultimately decisions made by people will set the course for mutual coexistence and comity.
Together we will establish this new international institution for the 21st century and convene the Congress for at least 500 indigenous nation delegations and 60 state delegations to meet in person and virtually from around the world in 2022. CNS will set a path for a new century building on the United Nations’ important achievements and other international bodies.
We need your support now to continue and complete this initiative that will set new pathways for cooperation and constructive action to benefit all humanity.
